Leg Ropes and Surfboard Leashes
At the core of the POD surfing range are the Connection Series leg ropes, built around connectors over-moulded onto friction-free swivels. The urethane cord stretches under load and works in unison with the connector, spreading force more evenly and reducing stress at the connection points. The connector system is tested to withstand up to 105kg of tensile force. Four lengths from 5ft to 8ft cover shortboard, mid-length and longboard surfing, and every leash uses 316 marine-grade stainless steel hardware.
Surfboard Fins
SURFDUST® SD1 and SD3 tri fin sets are FCS compatible, laminated in 6oz carbon for a light, responsive fin with drive through the turn. The SD1 suits lighter surfers from 40 to 60kg in smaller waves. The SD3 suits surfers from 55 to 75kg in medium waves. The SD3 and SD1 set pairs SD3 side fins with an SD1 rear.
Surf Wax
POD warm water surf wax suits Australian and tropical water temperatures. It applies cleanly, builds an even layer of grip and holds through long sessions without softening. It works on all surfboard deck materials and on steering wheels and equipment grips around the water.
Stretch Covers and Rash Guards
320gsm recycled knit stretch covers in lime, orange, POD blue and yellow protect surfboards from UV, pressure dings and abrasion between sessions and in transit. POD rash guards use UPF50+ rapid-dry fabric, and the Premium Long-Sleeve adds padded elbows and wear-resistant construction.
Ear Protection
Cold water and wind are linked to surfer's ear. The POD EarSeal Triple-Flange seats deep for a seal that holds through duck dives and wipeouts. Why Earplugs Fail in Surf and Open Water explains what keeps a seal in place.
Marine-Grade Hardware
316 marine-grade stainless steel swivels, buckles, grub screws and leash hardware fit POD and third-party leash and fin systems. Surfboard rail savers in two widths protect the rail and give a strong leash attachment with a triple-wrap hook-and-loop system.
