WOW 13" and PF1 - A Bodysurfing Setup for Every Level

The POD WOW 13" Handboard, PF1 Swim Fins, Neoprene Fin Socks and Fin Savers with Heel Protectors cover every contact point for bodysurfers, whether you've been riding for years or you're just starting out. The WOW 13" is a polyurethane handboard with an 18mm concave base and built-in keel fin that adds to your hand's lift and holds your direction through the wave. The PF1 is the lightest fin in the PF Series, and its forgiving flex keeps your kick easy on the legs across a long session. The fin socks tighten the fit inside the pocket, and the fin savers and heel protectors secure the fins at the ankle.

POD WOW 13" Bodysurfing Handboard

If you're new to handboards, the WOW 13" is an easy one to learn on, and it has plenty to offer once you're riding well. At 330mm, it's moulded from polyurethane that stays light, takes knocks and flexes a little before springing back. Under the board, an 18mm concave feeds water past a mono-keel fin, building on the lift from your hand and keeping the board pointing where you steer it. The convex deck rises into your palm, holding your hand in a natural position so it doesn't tire as the session goes on.

PF1 POD Swim Fins

Bodysurfing takes a lot of kicking, from punching out through the whitewater to chasing a wave down. The PF1 makes that easier to sustain. Its rail flows straight into the blade with no vertical top rails to hold it stiff, so the blade bends freely and each kick asks less of your legs. It's also the lightest fin in the PF Series, moulded from natural Malaysian rubber that floats if the surf pulls it off. The symmetrical blade and Splay Rails® keep both legs working evenly, so you stay on a straight line into the wave.

• Small/Medium: 7-8 - Length 24 cm, Width 9 cm
• Medium: 8-9 - Length 25 cm, Width 9.5 cm
• Medium/Large: 9-10 - Length 26 cm, Width 10 cm
• Large: 10-11 - Length 27 cm, Width 10.5 cm
• Extra Large: 11-12 - Length 28 cm, Width 11 cm
• Natural rubber stretch allowance up to 5 mm for a snug fit

POD Neoprene Fin Socks

Most fin socks run a line of stitching along the inner arch, and that's where they start to rub. The POD 3mm Neoprene Fin Socks leave it out. A registered stitch-free construction keeps the inner arch smooth, so you can stay out as long as the waves hold without a seam wearing at your foot.

POD Fin Savers and Heel Protectors

Losing a fin in the whitewater can end a session early. The POD Fin Savers keep that from happening with one streamlined ONE-Strap running from your ankle to the rubber fin strap. The heel protectors add soft neoprene pads around the fin strap, so the rubber doesn't rub your heel and the fin sits steadier on your foot when the surf starts pushing you around.

• Fresh water rinse after every surf - handboard, fins, socks, and savers
• Shade dry only - avoid direct sunlight for extended periods
• Avoid direct heat - never leave gear inside a vehicle on a hot day
• Store correctly - lay the WOW handboard flat and keep fins upright to maintain shape
