WOW 13", PF3 and Deluxe Fin Savers - A Bodysurfing Setup

The POD WOW 13" Handboard, PF3 Evolution Swim Fins, Neoprene Fin Socks and Deluxe Fin Savers cover every point where a bodysurfer connects with the water. The WOW 13" is a polyurethane handboard whose 18mm concave base and built-in keel fin add to your hand's lift and hold your line on the face. The PF3's asymmetric blade keeps the load centred over your foot and follows each change in your movement. The fin socks tighten the fit inside their asymmetric pocket. At the ankle, the Deluxe Fin Savers use a slim strap you adjust with a buckle to keep each fin secure. 

POD WOW 13" Bodysurfing Handboard

Polyurethane gives the WOW 13" a different feel from timber or hard plastic. The 330mm board is light in the hand, hard-wearing, and it flexes slightly under pressure before snapping back to shape. On the underside, an 18mm concave draws water back towards a mono-keel fin. That lifts what your hand is already doing on the face and helps the board carry through the wave on the line you set.

PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins

The PF3's blade is intentionally off-centre. Its asymmetric shape keeps the load running through the middle of your foot rather than out towards the toe edge, so the fin flexes along the same path your leg travels. As the longest and most flexible fin in the PF Series, it bends deep through each kick. Out on the face, vertical rails reaching to the blade edge grip the water and keep your legs from slipping down the wave.

Step 1 - Foot Length and Width

• Small/Medium: 7-8 - Length 24 cm, Width 9 cm
• Medium: 8-9 - Length 25 cm, Width 9.5 cm
• Medium/Large: 9-10 - Length 26 cm, Width 10 cm
• Large: 10-11 - Length 27 cm, Width 10.5 cm
• Natural rubber stretch allowance up to 5 mm for a snug fit

Step 2 - Ankle Strap Width

• Small/Medium: 9.5 cm
• Medium: 10 cm
• Medium/Large: 10.5 cm
• Large: 11 cm

POD Neoprene Fin Socks

Your inner arch presses hardest against a fin sock, so POD kept that spot clear of stitching. The 3mm Neoprene Fin Socks use a registered stitch-free construction there, leaving a smooth stretch of neoprene where most socks have a seam. That seam is usually why fin socks become uncomfortable, and these don't have one.

POD Deluxe Fin Savers

The Deluxe Fin Savers loop around the strap of any swim fin and sit flat against your ankle. The 6mm webbing adjusts with a slim buckle, so you can set the tension exactly where you want it. Underneath, 4mm neoprene padding eases the pressure and rubbing at your ankle, without adding bulk between your foot and the fin.

• Freshwater rinse after every surf - handboard, fins, socks, and savers
• Shade dry only - avoid direct sunlight for extended periods
• Avoid direct heat - never leave gear inside a vehicle on a hot day
• Store correctly - lay the WOW handboard flat and keep fins upright to maintain shape
