The Most Structured Fin in the PF Series - Made for Bodysurfing and Bodyboarding
The PF2 is made from natural Malaysian rubber, with vertical rails that run out to the edge of a symmetric Chisel Blade®. That structure gives the fin a firm, direct response. On a wave, the rails grip the face and keep your legs from sliding down it.
Where the PF1 lets its rail flow into the blade, the PF2 carries vertical rails right to the edge, making it the firmest of the three. Where the PF3 uses an asymmetric blade and pocket, the PF2 keeps both symmetric, so the load spreads evenly across the fin. Riders and swimmers who want the same predictable response on every kick choose the PF2 for exactly that reason.
In collaboration with our rubber factory, POD was the first to introduce variegated colour straps and rails. The colours come from ocean life, and each pair carries its own pattern, so no two sets are the same.

Shoe Size and Swim Fin Fit
Shoe size is not a reliable guide for swim fins. Rubber stretch, foot pocket shape and brand sizing all vary. The PF2's firmer response puts more load through your foot, so an accurate fit matters more.

Refining PF2 Fit for Comfort and Control
The right size is the first step. How the fin feels in the water depends on how securely and comfortably it fits once the surf picks up.
If you use your PF2 fins in surf, shore break or moving water, POD Deluxe Fin Straps keep them on through entry, exit and heavy water movement.
If the heel feels slightly loose or pressure builds during a long session, POD Swim Fin Savers and Heel Protectors settle the heel and stop the strap rubbing.
For feet at the lower end of the foot pocket range, POD 3mm Neoprene Fin Socks close up the fit, stop your foot moving inside the pocket and add warmth in cooler water. The POD Fit Finder also shows when socks, heel pads or fin savers are worth adding, based on your foot dimensions and how you plan to use the fins.
Natural Rubber - What to Expect on Arrival
POD moulds every PF2 from natural Malaysian rubber. A light white powder or waxy residue on the surface is normal. This is not a defect, and you don't need to remove it before use.
Mould release agents from manufacturing and natural compounds in the rubber cause it, and you will find the same residue on other natural rubber products. It shows up more on darker rubber.

If it dries out: A wash in hot water dissolves a powdery surface if one develops over time
Rubber Memory
Natural rubber holds the shape it was moulded into. If a fin bends out of shape from storage or heat, hot water helps it relax back towards its original form.
