The Connection Series

At the heart of every POD bodyboard leash is the Connection Series, developed around organically shaped connectors that are precisely over-moulded onto friction-free swivels. This allows the urethane cord to stretch in unison with the connector under load, supporting controlled recovery and reducing twist accumulation. Unlike conventional designs that use heat-bent urethane to form a common elbow-kink stress point, POD leashes maintain a straight line after the coil, eliminating a key failure point in high-load wipeouts and repeated tension cycles.

Marine-Grade Hardware

Every leash in the POD Connection range uses 316 marine-grade stainless steel buckles, swivels, and split rings. Selected for corrosion resistance and long-term strength in saltwater environments. Components that do not degrade with repeated exposure to salt, sand, and sun are not a premium feature. They are the minimum standard for equipment that operates in the ocean.

Bodyboard Bicep Leashes

Three sizes cover the full range of riders and conditions. Medium suits most riders in moderate surf. Large suits, larger riders, and heavier conditions. X-Large suits the biggest riders in the most demanding surf, where the load on the connection reaches its peak. Each bicep leash features a double-padded non-slip neoprene cuff and a quick-release D-loop for safety.

Wrist and Drop Knee Leashes

The wrist leash suits bodyboarders who prefer a lower attachment point or ride in conditions where a bicep connection is not practical. The drop knee leash is designed for drop knee riding, where leg position and board control differ from those in prone bodyboarding.

Surfboard Leg Ropes

Four leg rope lengths from 5ft to 8ft cover shortboard, mid-length, and longboard surfing. The same marine-grade hardware and swivel construction runs across the surfboard range. The board stays within reach. The session continues.

Bodyboard Plugs

POD bodyboard plugs provide a strong, reliable attachment point for the leash cord. Engineered for long-term durability without cutting or damaging the deck or slick. Available in black, white, blue, red, yellow, lime, and orange.
