POD Large Bicep Bodyboard Leash - Heavy Surf POD Connection

The POD Large Bicep Bodyboard Leash suits bigger riders and heavier conditions, where the leash connection takes more load. The POD Connection uses an organic over-moulded urethane design that stretches in a straight line with the cord, eliminating twisting and kinking that occur with angled-slot connectors under high load.

The full leash stretches up to five times its original length, most of it in the coiled urethane cord, while the connector stretches 100% with no twist. That straight-line stretch distributes load evenly through wipeouts, reducing recoil and keeping the connection smooth under sustained pressure. The larger coil diameter eliminates elbow kinks and stress points that cause premature failure in heavy surf.

Where conventional connectors use angled grooves or perpendicular slots that twist and drag under the forces generated in heavier surf, the POD Connection moves with the cord. The over-moulded urethane design maintains alignment through the full stretch range, reducing stress concentration at connection points.

Will the leash pull on my arm while I ride?
It shouldn't. The larger coil diameter keeps the cord in a compact coil, so it holds consistent tension without dragging on your arm. Fit the cuff snug above the elbow, and place the plug so the coil sits on the deck when you're in riding position.
