Mid-Size Board, Most Flex - WOO, PF3 and Fin Savers
The POD WOO Cedar Walnut Handboard, PF3 Evolution Swim Fins and Fin Savers with Heel Protectors pair the most-used wood handboard in the Hand Body Soul® range with the most flexible fin in the PF Series and a full ankle retention system. At 300mm, the WOO handles a wide range of waves and riders. The PF3's asymmetric blade centres the load over your foot and responds precisely to how you move. At the ankle, the fin savers and heel protectors keep your heel settled and each fin tethered to you when the water turns rough.
WOO Cedar Walnut Handboard - Hand Body Soul®
If you only own one handboard, there's a good chance it's the WOO. More riders choose it than any other board in the Hand Body Soul® range. At 300mm (12 inches), it sits between the compact EGO and the large FLO. Its cedar and walnut hull carries an 18mm concave and a keel fin shaped into the base. That adds lift to what your hand already does on the face and keeps the board easy to steer, whether you're riding knee-high peelers or overhead walls. A 50mm strap with 65mm of neoprene padding keeps your hand secure and comfortable all session, and the convex deck fills your palm.

PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins
Pair the PF3 with a handboard; your legs and hand share the job. The hand finds the lift and the legs keep you set on the face. The PF3 handles the legs' half with vertical rails that run to the blade edge, the same rail design as the PF2. They hold into the wave, so your lower body stays level with your hand instead of sagging towards the trough.
Getting into the wave is where the blade comes in. It's the longest in the PF Series and flexes more than either of the others. An asymmetric outline keeps pressure over the middle of your foot, away from the toe edge, so the fin bends in time with your leg and your kick stays smooth.
The asymmetric pocket fits the real shape of your foot. Put your weight into it, and it doesn't give.
Bodysurfers and bodyboarders who ride a wide mix of waves pick the PF3 for how closely it follows them. Whether the wave is soft and slow or quick and steep, the fin reacts to the timing and direction your legs set.

POD Fin Savers and Heel Protectors
The back of your heel takes more wear from a fin strap than most people realise. Each kick drags the rubber across the skin, and over a long body surf session it starts to burn. The POD Heel Protectors wrap soft 4mm neoprene around the fin strap, so your heel rests on padding instead of bare rubber. They also firm up the fit, keeping your heel from sliding out when a wave rolls you.
The Fin Savers add a backup. One slim webbing strap, the ONE-Strap, runs from your ankle to the fin strap. If a fin does come off in the white water, it stays tethered to your leg. A single narrow strap keeps the setup light and clean in the water, without the bulk and drag of wider webbing.
- ONE-Strap webbing connection - single strap sits flat between ankle and rubber fin strap
- Reduces bulk and drag at the ankle
- Neoprene heel pads prevent chafing and stabilise the heel
- No plastic hardware at connection points
- POD Registered Design
