Learning to Bodysurf - Original Classic, PF1, Socks and Fin Savers
The POD PF1 Swim Fins, Original Classic Handboard, Neoprene Fin Socks and Deluxe Fin Savers cover every contact point for riders learning and developing their bodysurfing. The Original Classic builds on the lift from your hand and helps you hold your line across the face. The PF1's forgiving flex and light weight keep your kick easy on the legs, wave after wave, and plenty of riders never swap it for anything else. The fin socks close up the fit inside the pocket, and the Deluxe Fin Savers keep each fin secure at the ankle.
POD Original Classic Handboard
Hold the Original Classic up to the sun and the surface shimmers like a fish turning in clear water. Mineral-based pearl pigments do that, mixed through solid, recyclable polypropylene. The board is light and tough, and it floats at neutral. In the water, it simply stays level with your hand, never dragging your arm under or bobbing up against it.
Turn it over, and you'll see a concave hull with a keel fin moulded into it. Water runs along that shape as you ride, adding to the lift your hand already finds on the face and keeping the board tracking in the line you choose. Your hand sits just above the pivot point. The double-padded neoprene strap and EVA palm pad hold it there comfortably, well past the point where a thinner strap would start to bite.

PF1 POD Swim Fins
The PF1 weighs the least of the three PF Series fins. It's moulded from natural Malaysian rubber that floats, and its rail runs smoothly into the blade with no vertical top rails. Without those rails stiffening the edges, the blade bends freely. Your kick meets less resistance at the top of each stroke, so you can hold a steady rhythm for longer. A symmetrical blade and Splay Rails® keep the fin tracking straight, so the effort from both legs goes forward rather than sideways.
You'll find the PF1 in the pool for training, out past the break for open-water swims, and in the surf for bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and kneeboarding. The lightweight, easy-flex suit suits fitness swimmers, younger riders, and anyone still building their kick. It was also the first PF fin, and plenty of riders have never needed anything else.

POD Neoprene Fin Socks
Cold water and a loose fin pocket are the two usual reasons to reach for a fin sock. The POD 3mm Neoprene Fin Socks handle both, and they leave out the stitching that makes most fin socks uncomfortable.
The inside of the arch has no seam at all. POD uses a registered stitch-free construction there, so the neoprene runs in one smooth piece along the medial arch and lies flat against your foot. On a long swim, you won't feel a ridge building up where the fin pocket squeezes.
If your foot sits at the small end of your fin's size range, 3mm of neoprene fills the extra room and tightens the fit. As the water cools, it holds warmth around your feet and shields your skin from rubbing against the rubber.

POD Deluxe Fin Savers
The POD Deluxe Fin Savers use a slim-line buckle-adjustable strap system with 6mm webbing that loops around any swim fin strap and sits flat against the ankle. The 4mm neoprene padding reduces pressure and friction without adding bulk between the foot and the fin. They suit ocean use in surf, shore break, and moving water where fin retention matters.
