Hand to Heel - EGO, PF3 and Fin Savers
The POD EGO Cedar Walnut Handboard, PF3 Evolution Swim Fins and Fin Savers with Heel Protectors pair the smallest wood handboard in the Hand Body Soul® range with the most flexible fin in the PF Series and a full ankle retention system. The 9-inch EGO keeps your hand's contact with the wave compact and direct, and it suits smaller hands. The PF3's asymmetric blade centres the load over your foot and follows every change in your movement. The fin savers and heel protectors keep your heel steady and each fin tethered through rough water.
EGO Cedar Walnut Handboard - Hand Body Soul®
The EGO barely reaches past your fingertips. At 225mm (9 inches), it's the smallest board in the Hand Body Soul® range, and that compact size keeps it quick to reposition on steep, technical waves. It also fits smaller hands without overpowering them. The cedar and walnut hull carries a 16mm concave with a keel fin built into the base. On top, the convex deck cups your palm and gives your hand firm, natural support. A 50mm strap with 65mm neoprene 4mm padding holds everything together, secure and easy on the skin, however long you stay out.

PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins
On a steep wave, the drop comes first, and every decision after it happens fast. With a small board like the EGO out front, your legs do more of the work of setting your position, and the PF3 is shaped to keep up.
It starts in the pocket. The asymmetric design follows the actual outline of your foot, so the fin answers the moment you move rather than a fraction later. Through the kick, the blade keeps the load centred under your foot and away from the toe edge. It's the longest and most flexible blade in the PF Series, so it bends with your leg instead of snapping back.
On the face, vertical rails reaching out to the blade edge hold into the wave, keeping your legs up while you choose your line. The PF2 uses the same rail design.
Bodysurfers and bodyboarders who like steep waves and tight timing end up on the PF3 because it stays with every change their legs make.

POD Fin Savers and Heel Protectors
Steep waves and hard wipeouts are when fins go missing. The ONE-Strap is a single slim length of webbing running from your ankle to the rubber fin strap, so if whitewater rips a fin off, it stays attached to you. One narrow strap does the job without the weight and drag of a wide webbing system, and your kick feels the same with it on as off.
The heel protectors fit over the fin strap in soft neoprene. They cushion the spot where rubber meets skin, which spares your heel from chafing over a long session. They also hold your heel more firmly in the fin, which really helps when the shore break is dumping, and the water keeps shifting around you.
- ONE-Strap webbing connection - single strap sits flat between ankle and rubber fin strap
- Reduces bulk and drag at the ankle
- Neoprene heel pads prevent chafing and stabilise the heel
- No plastic hardware at connection points
- POD Registered Design
