The POD Waterproof Backpack 40L and FLO Cedar Walnut Handboard pair the high-capacity bag in the POD waterproof system with the largest handboard in the Hand Body Soul® range. The FLO at 375mm is the maximum surface choice for experienced riders in powerful surf. The 40L carries the full surrounding kit, wetsuit, fins, towel, and rash guard, sealed against water, sand, and impact, with the FLO protected alongside everything else. A pairing for the bodysurfer who travels with the full setup.
POD Waterproof Backpack 40L
Forty litres of sealed, waterproof carry starts with heavy-duty PVC tarpaulin and electronically heat-welded seams throughout. Roll the webbing forward three times for an airtight, watertight closure, then lock it with either the top buckle for fast access between the car and the beach, or the side compression straps when the pack stays on the back for longer. Sealed correctly, the bag floats.
The upper front pocket at 26cm x 20cm fits a phone, wallet, passport, and keys without opening the main compartment. The lower pocket at 27cm x 27cm handles accessories and session gear. Both carry IPX6-rated waterproof zippers. Dual-layer ventilated shoulder straps, a moulded carry handle, an adjustable chest strap, a ventilated back panel, and two D-ring attachment points complete the carry system. Weight stays close to the back across a full load. Available in Black/Black and Black/White.

FLO Cedar Walnut Handboard - Hand Body Soul®
The FLO is the largest handboard in the Hand Body Soul® range at 375mm (15 inches), and the most substantial handplane in the POD cedar and walnut line. Cedar and walnut construction with a deep 20mm concave bottom and integrated keel fin. The concave channels water flow to generate lift across the full blade surface. The keel fin holds the directional line through the wave. The convex deck supports a natural hand position in the palm.

Care - Backpack and Handboard
- Fresh water rinse after every surf - handboard and backpack exterior
- Check the seal before closing - keep the rolling area clean and free of sand for a reliable watertight closure
- Shade dry only - dry both the handboard and the backpack inside and out before storing
- Avoid direct heat - never leave the handboard or backpack inside a vehicle on a hot day
- Recoat when needed - apply a marine-grade satin finish to the wood when signs of wear or water ingress appear
