Important: Shoe sizes can vary across brands and countries. The Fit Finder uses safe averages; for the best results, we recommend measuring your foot and ankle.

+ How to Measure Foot Length + Width

Use a ruler and paper against a wall to measure foot length from heel to longest toe. Width is measured at the widest point, as shown in the diagram.

PF2 POD Swim Fins - Progression Fins for Power, Support and Control

The PF2 POD Swim Fins are designed as a progression model for swimmers, bodysurfers, bodyboarders, and knee board riders who require more drive and directional control than entry-level fins, while maintaining comfort during extended sessions.

Compared to the PF1, the PF2 introduces additional structural support and controlled thrust through its blade geometry and sole configuration. This allows riders to generate stronger propulsion with greater stability when wave riding, paddling into position, or performing short, powerful kick cycles.

The PF2 remains comfortable for swimming and open-water use, but its design intent shifts toward enhanced thrust, wave-holding stability, and controlled power delivery. This makes it well-suited for users progressing beyond basic training or seeking more authority in moving water.

Manufactured from premium natural Malaysian rubber, the PF2 offers durability, buoyancy, and consistent flex. The PF2 is heavier and more supportive than the PF1, providing increased feedback and response under load while remaining forgiving enough for longer sessions.

In collaboration with our rubber factory, POD was the first to introduce variegated colour straps and rails. Inspired by ocean life, each pair features unique colour variation, ensuring no two sets are the same.

POD PF2 Boost Swim Fin Features

  • Manufactured from high-quality, natural, buoyant Malaysian rubber
  • Sole ramp-up design to reduce unnecessary toe movement and improve comfort
  • Enhanced upward and downward thrust compared to PF1
  • Ergonomic soft rubber foot pocket and strap for secure fit
  • Tread Rails® add structural strength and durability.
  • Splay Rails® combined with a symmetric Chisel Blade® for balanced yet more powerful propulsion.
  • Vertical rails improve wave-holding stability and directional control.
  • Drainage design allows rapid release of water and sand from the foot pocket.
  • Sic Cut® profile delivers a lightweight yet robust structure under load.

Where PF2 Fits in the PF Series

  • Swimming and Open Water: For swimmers wanting more drive and feedback than PF1 during fitness or ocean sessions
  • Bodysurfing and Bodyboarding: Increased thrust and wave control without the anatomical complexity of PF3
  • Knee Boarding: Short, powerful propulsion where the board provides primary lift and fins provide acceleration
  • Rescue, Lifesaving and Ocean Photography: Reliable power delivery and durability under repeated load

The Mark of Quality - Natural Rubber Factory Finish

PF2 POD Swim Fins are produced using premium natural Malaysian rubber. You may notice a light white powder or waxy residue on arrival. This is a natural mould release agent used during manufacturing and is a sign of unused, factory-fresh rubber.

Note on Colour: This residue is more visible on darker rubber due to contrast.

To remove: Wash with hot water before first use.

Shoe Size and Swim Fin Fit

Shoe size should not be used as a primary guide when selecting swim fins. Rubber fins rely on stretch and structure rather than lacing or adjustment.

Please refer to the PF2 size chart or use the POD Fit Finder to determine the correct fit for comfort first, followed by propulsion and control.

Care and Use Advice

POD rubber swim fins are designed for swimming, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, knee boarding, lifesaving, and ocean use. They are not designed for forward walking or running.

We recommend a common-sense approach, such as walking backwards when wearing fins, to preserve structure and extend product life.

POD Fins are precisely engineered for use within the stated and engraved size range. Using a size below the specified size (by more than one size) alters the intended foot-to-blade ratio and may result in an improper fit or performance. Fitting fins to feet larger than the stated size may cause overstretching or overloading, which can compromise the structural integrity of the fin. Such misuse voids all warranty coverage. POD rubber fins are designed exclusively for swimming purposes and are not intended for walking or running, as they are not footwear. Bending or flexing the blade beyond approximately 35° in any direction may cause tearing or cracking of the blade or sole. Damage resulting from such actions is not covered under warranty. To minimise the risk of damage when moving in shallow water, swim fins should be used only for swimming. Avoid forward walking or running while wearing fins. If movement on land or in shallow areas is necessary, walking or stepping backwards will help prevent undue stress to the blade and foot cavity.

    Must haves

I've had a pair of PF1's for 10+ years and absolutely loved them. Unfortunately last season the rubber in the heal finally started to crack, which is reasonable for their age, so I've had to part ways and grab the upgraded PF2's. Big props to Shane who's customer service was top notch. Will definitely be back in the future.

English translation; Bought there nearly 10 years "waimea surf shop" in Anglet, they are still new in appearance.
