About POD Swim Fins

Three fins. One material. Built for the water sports that demand the most from your legs.

Natural Malaysian Rubber. Three Models. One Purpose.

The Material

POD® swim fins use a cross-laminated construction with overlapping layers of varying hardness, delivering a balance of power transfer and durability that synthetic rubber alternatives cannot match. The material flexes through the kick cycle and returns to shape consistently without the stiffness degradation that affects synthetic fins over time.

The Blade

The ratio between foot length and blade length is a carefully considered balance across all three models. Extend the blade too far beyond the foot and propulsion increases, but so does the load on the ankle and knee. POD fins are engineered around that balance point. Enough blade for efficient propulsion, without the physical cost of an over-length design.

PF1

The PF1 is the entry point into the PF series. A streamlined blade with a comfortable foot pocket suits developing riders and those who want a forgiving, responsive fin across a range of conditions.

PF2

The PF2 builds on that foundation with a stiffer, symmetric blade and an integrated sole ramp-up that reduces unnecessary toe movement and improves power transfer through each kick. The symmetric design makes the PF2 a preferred option for riders managing ankle or knee sensitivity.

PF3 Evolution

The PF3 Evolution is the world's first asymmetric bodysurfing fin. The asymmetric blade curvature centres load more evenly across the foot rather than concentrating it on the toe edge, reducing load on the ankles and knees while improving efficiency and control in heavier conditions.

Fit

Fit is the most important factor in fin performance. The POD Fit Finder on each product page uses three measurements to match you to the correct model and size. Foot length, foot width, and ankle width for strap fit. If your foot is slightly undersized, the Fit Finder recommends a 3mm neoprene sock to fill the gap. If your ankle is narrower than standard, it is recommended to use heel pads and fin savers to secure the fit.

When your fins work with your body rather than against it, every session becomes more efficient, controlled, and connected to the wave. Use the Fit Finder on each product page before selecting your size.
