Product Description

PF3 Evolution Limited Colour Edition for 2017 will be announced in November - limited stocks last only.

Introducing our top-of-the-line surfing swim fin proudly designed by our POD team! Others may try to imitate but none will even come close to the research and development that has gone into the PF3 Evolution Line. This distinctive swimming fin has all the high quality design features of our PF2’s but stands out because of its asymmetrical design which delivers more precise balance when compared with competitors asymmetrical fins. These performance fins are sought after by experienced bodysurfers, bodyboarders and ocean photographers. Our Point of Difference (POD) philosophy is what makes the difference in this leading edge surfing swim fin!

PF3 Evolution Features

:: Asymmetrical design delivers precision balance
:: Foot size relative to blade length ratio
:: Manufactured with Malaysian highest quality natural buoyant rubber compounds
:: Lightweight
:: POD patented lamination technique for super strong construction
:: Soft rubber lined extended foot pocket is extremely comfortable
:: Unique splay rails® combined with asymmetric blade provide excellent balance and a more powerful kick with directed thrust, speed and control
:: Vertical rails produce greater wave holding stability
:: Drainage design ensures quick water and sand release from the foot pocket

*Note: Please use the foot size chart below for all models of POD fins. If you have any doubts whatsoever, please visit your local stockist.

If the length of your foot is slightly longer but matches the same width in the sizes below, there is still plenty of toe room because the foot pocket itself has been extended for versatile fittings and to ensure a comfortable fit.

POD does not recommend fitting two foot sizes down in any size fins, as this may tear or crack the sole including snapping the fin strap from over stretching, plus this will change the intended foot size to blade length ratio, including the structural strength vs. body weight which is not covered under warranty.

Most importantly rubber swim fins are intended for swimming not walking or running. Bending the blade beyond 45° in any direction from walking, running and/or impact on the blade will cause the sole or blade to tear/crack will void any warranty.

Please find below the blade length comparison between the PF2's and PF3's this extra blade length will scale the same in all size swim fins. Additional full frame photo is available above.

  1. best fins on the market

Love these fins my 2nd pair but have had all types of pods lightweight and max propulsion keep up the good work guys

  2. very powerful, very comfortable

Posted by Evan McAdams on 21st Jun 2013

I have used several fins in the past until I ordered my first pair of pod fins. (Pf2) I have used them for a year 10-15 hours in the ocean a week. And they are great fins. I recently picked up the pf3 and am amazed at the thrust produced by these fins. And the comfort I expected from pod. I wear a size 13 us and the large fits perfectly. My pf2 fins are an xl (I guess they don't produce that size anymore) and they are a little large for my feet. But fin sinches and fin socks took care of that. But the large size is a perfect fit. So I recommend buying one size down. But all things considered, the best fin I have ever owned. Moreover, when my friends have asked me what fin they should get, and I tell them a set of pods (none have listened) I smile when they say their feet hurt after an hour in the water. Three hours later, I'm still catching waves. .. and they are on the beach. Lol

  3. 'SWEET!'

My 13yr old son is delighted with his orange & lime green PF3 Evo limited edition fins! He hasn't had a chance to try them out yet but come what may we'll be out on Saturday morning! Foot pocket feels really soft and the fit is better than his current churchills. 'Sweet!"

  4. These Fins Rock

    Fit
Soft around my ankles and heels with extra room around my toes making it comfortable even after a long 2 hour session.

    Sand
Sand build up wasn't an issue with a drain hole flushing and cleaning the fins foot socket area with ease.

    Performance
Although the fit is soft around my foot, the sides of the fin are ridge and firm across the middle and just the right length to deliver exceptional forward thrust with just a few kicks.

    Overall
I was very happy with the performance of my new PF3 fins, in the water the PF3 delivers speed and performance yet it's soft enough to not hurt your feet. They came with a carry bag big enough for my fins and beach towel(nice one POD)
