Care and Precautions: Wooden Handboard + POD Fins
Your Cedar or Walnut POD Handboard and fins are built for performance and longevity. A little care goes a long way:
- Rinse Thoroughly: After every session, rinse both handboard and fins with fresh water to remove salt, sand, and grit.
- Dry in Shade: Allow to air-dry naturally in a shaded, ventilated area, never in full sun.
- Avoid Heat Exposure: High heat is the enemy. Don't leave your handboard exposed in cars or harsh sunlight. This stresses the wood and shortens the life of the marine coating.
