The POD Waterproof Backpack 40L and EGO Cedar Walnut Handboard pair the high-capacity bag in the POD waterproof system with the most compact hand surfer in the Hand Body Soul® range. The EGO at 225mm suits technical surf, smaller hands, and riders who prefer a precise, agile contact point in the water. The 40L carries the full surrounding kit, wetsuit, fins, towel, and rash guard, sealed against water, sand, and impact, with the EGO tucked in alongside everything else. POD Waterproof Backpack 40L
Where the EGO reduces to its essential contact point, the 40L expands to carry everything around it. Heavy-duty PVC tarpaulin with electronically heat-welded seams holds the full load waterproof. Roll the webbing forward three times to seal the main compartment airtight, then lock with the top buckle for quick access or tighten the side compression straps for a longer carry. The bag floats when sealed correctly.
The upper front pocket at 26cm x 20cm keeps a phone, wallet, passport, and keys within reach without opening the main compartment. The lower pocket at 27cm x 27cm handles accessories and session gear. Both carry IPX6-rated waterproof zippers. Dual-layer ventilated shoulder straps, a moulded carry handle, an adjustable chest strap, a ventilated back panel, and two D-ring attachment points complete the carry system. Weight stays close to the back across a full gear load. Available in Black/Black and Black/White.

EGO Cedar Walnut Handboard - Hand Body Soul®
The EGO is the smallest handboard and handplane in the Hand Body Soul® range at 225mm (9 inches). Cedar and walnut construction with a 16mm concave bottom and integrated keel fin. The concave channels water flow to generate lift across the blade surface. The keel fin holds the directional line through the wave. At 250 to 280 grams, it is the lightest board in the Hand Body Soul® range and the most practical choice for riders who travel light. The convex deck with ergonomic palm hold supports a natural hand position under load.

- Fresh water rinse after every surf - handboard and backpack exterior
- Check the seal before closing - keep the rolling area clean and free of sand for a reliable watertight closure
- Shade dry only - dry both the handboard and the backpack inside and out before storing
- Avoid direct heat - never leave the handboard or backpack inside a vehicle on a hot day
- Recoat when needed - apply a marine-grade satin finish to the wood when signs of wear or water ingress appear
