Care Instructions
Keep your child's swim mask in top condition by treating it with care. Polycarbonate (PC) lenses are rigid but can scratch easily if rubbed with fingers after use in salt or chlorinated water.
After every swim:
- Rinse the mask in fresh water to remove salt, oil, or chlorine
- Air dry in the shade, avoid direct sunlight, and hot car interiors
- For deep cleaning, use lukewarm water with a few drops of mild detergent, rinse, and dry in the shade
These simple steps will help maintain clarity and comfort for many swims ahead.
Choosing the Right Fit
A well-fitting swim mask means comfort and confidence in the water. Use the simple Suction Test:
Place the mask against the face without using the headband and gently press the centre of the lenses. If it holds momentarily through suction, it's a good fit.
Remember, every face shape is different. If the mask doesn't seal comfortably or leaks, another model may be more suitable.
Headband Adjustment
A secure fit should never mean an uncomfortable squeeze. The Vision's split silicone headband adjusts easily for the perfect balance between comfort and stability.
If you need to over-tighten the strap, the mask may not fit your face correctly. Over-tightening can also shorten strap life, so adjust gently and evenly for the best seal.
Attention
Always supervise children when swimming with goggles or masks. While the Vision Mask is designed with soft materials and safety in mind, proper care and supervision help prevent eye irritation or injury.
If any discomfort or skin reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.
