Asymmetric Blade. Proven Lift. The Experienced Rider's Pairing.

The POD Original Classic Handboard and PF3 Evolution Swim Fins suit experienced bodysurfers who want more from both contact points. The handboard manages lift, direction, and hold. The PF3 brings the asymmetric blade - the longest in the PF Series and the most flexible - centring load over the foot rather than the toe edge and driving through the wave with precision. Together they form a pairing for riders who know what they want from the water.

POD Original Classic Handboard

The Original Classic is moulded from solid recyclable polypropylene with mineral-based pearl pigments that catch the light like fish scales. Lightweight, durable, and neutrally buoyant - it sits naturally in the water without pulling the arm down or riding too high.

The concave bottom and integrated keel fin work with water flow to support lift and directional hold through the wave. The hand sits naturally above the pivot point, and the double-padded neoprene strap with EVA palm deck pad keeps the connection secure and comfortable across longer sessions.

For full product details visit the POD Original Classic Handboard page.

PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins

The PF3 Evolution is the longest fin in the POD PF Series and the most flexible. The asymmetric blade centres load over the foot rather than the toe edge, moving with the body more naturally through each kick. Like the PF2, the PF3 carries vertical rails that extend to the blade edge, improving wave hold and keeping the legs from sliding down the wave face. What makes the PF3 distinct is the asymmetric geometry - more flex, longer blade, and a foot pocket that follows the natural contour of the foot.

The PF3 suits experienced bodysurfers who want a fin that responds precisely to how they move, particularly in conditions where timing, direction, and wave positioning matter most. Available in sizes SM through L.

POD fins are manufactured for use within the stated and engraved size range. Using a size more than one size below the specified size alters the intended foot-to-blade ratio and may result in an improper fit or reduced function. Fitting fins to feet larger than the stated size may cause overstretching or overloading, which can compromise the structural integrity of the fin. Such misuse voids warranty coverage. POD rubber fins are made for swimming and are not intended for walking or running. Bending or flexing the blade beyond 35° in any direction may cause tearing or cracking of the blade or sole. Damage resulting from such actions is not covered under warranty. To minimise the risk of damage when moving in shallow water, fins should be used for swimming only. Avoid walking or running forward while wearing fins. Where movement on land or in shallow water is necessary, walking backwards will help prevent undue stress to the blade and foot cavity. This warranty does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

    PF3&Handboard

Posted by Steve on 28th Dec 2015

I've been bodysurfing since I learnt to swim and bodyboarding for over 30 years. I always used an other brand of fins until several years ago when the PF2's came out, I liked the look and feel of them but unfortunately lost one in a big swell at Lennox Point only 3 weeks after I purchased them. Went back to the old faithfuls until now because my 12 yr old son has taken a liking to my Slashers. I wanted some new fins and decided to try the PF3's. When I saw the price of the fin/hand board combo I thought why not. Now I wish i had gotten one years ago. I am amazed at how much it improves the bodysurfing experience and length of ride especially in the tube. The fins are so comfortable and give much more drive than anything I've used. Stoked with how quick and easy the purchase was, I ordered on Friday and received the parcel the following Monday and that was Christmas week. Thanks Shane for awesome products and hassle free shopping experience.
