The Handboard Holds the Line. The Fins Drive You There.

The POD Original Classic Handboard and PF2 Swim Fins work differently in the water and that is exactly why they pair well. The handboard manages lift, direction, and hold through the wave. The PF2 fins provide the drive to get there - vertical rails that hold position on the wave face and prevent the legs from sliding down. Together they cover the two contact points that matter most in bodysurfing.

POD Original Classic Handboard

The Original Classic is moulded from solid recyclable polypropylene with mineral-based pearl pigments that catch the light like fish scales. Lightweight, durable, and neutrally buoyant - it sits naturally in the water without pulling the arm down or riding too high.

The concave bottom and integrated keel fin work with water flow to support lift and directional hold through the wave. The hand sits naturally above the pivot point, and the double-padded neoprene strap with EVA palm deck pad keeps the connection secure and comfortable across longer sessions.

PF2 POD Swim Fins

The PF2 is the most structured fin in the POD PF Series. Made from natural Malaysian buoyant rubber, it carries vertical rails that extend to the blade edge. Those rails improve wave hold, keep the legs from sliding down the wave face, and give the kick a firm, directed response through moving water. A sole ramp-up reduces unnecessary toe movement and improves comfort under load.

The symmetric Chisel Blade® and symmetric foot pocket distribute load evenly across both sides of the fin - a genuine choice for bodysurfers who want a predictable, stable response.

POD Fins are precisely engineered for use within the stated and engraved size range. Using a size below the specified size (by more than one size) alters the intended foot-to-blade ratio and may result in an improper fit or performance. Fitting fins to feet larger than the stated size may cause overstretching or overloading, which can compromise the structural integrity of the fin. Such misuse voids all warranty coverage. POD rubber fins are designed exclusively for swimming purposes and are not intended for walking or running, as they are not footwear. Bending or flexing the blade beyond approximately 35° in any direction may cause tearing or cracking of the blade or sole. Damage resulting from such actions is not covered under warranty. To minimise the risk of damage when moving in shallow water, swim fins should be used only for swimming. Avoid forward walking or running while wearing fins. If movement on land or in shallow areas is necessary, walking or stepping backwards will help prevent undue stress to the blade and foot cavity.

No room for boards in the car. Fins and a POD is the answer

Posted by Steve on 16th Jan 2018

After a Mountain Bike trip to the Sunshine coast with some mates, we went for a swim after a ride. Cars full of bikes so no boards. A couple of them pull out these little bags with Pods and Fins. They’ve had them for years, always have them in the back of the car. The waves they were able to get out on with just a POD blew my mind. So this Xmas my teenage boys and I joined the POD world. I don’t have to put three boards on the roof to go to the coast. The design of these things is awesome, curved just right. The business owner helped us with fit and choice. Could not say enough good things here. Well designed product backed by a great company!!
