POD 7ft Surfboard Leash - Octo-Grip Ankle Cuff for Mid-Length Boards
The POD 7ft Surfboard Leash suits surfers moving to mid-length boards, funboards, or those surfing with more energy in the lineup. The extra length provides a wider safety radius when the board has more volume and generates more force through a wipeout. Like the 6ft, this model carries the upgrades that 14 years of real-world testing and direct surfer feedback have produced.
Total cord length is 7ft 9" including hardware. At PODWARE, the stated length is cord length alone, not cord plus cuff and swivel.
Octo-Grip - The Upgraded Ankle Cuff
Mid-length boards generate more leash pull during a wipeout. A cuff that shifts or causes an ankle rash becomes a distraction at exactly the wrong moment. The Octo-Grip addresses that with a variable silicone suction print across the ankle contact surface.
The silicone circles create a low-profile traction interface that locks to skin or neoprene without irritation. The cuff stays in position through hold-downs without requiring the strap to be overtightened. Available in Stealth Black.
POD Connection - Organic Fusion, No Twist
The POD Connection uses an organic over-moulded design fused directly onto the 7mm extruded urethane cord. Standard connectors use perpendicular slots or angled grooves that twist the cord under load. The POD Connection eliminates those angles entirely, keeping the stretch on a true linear path.
