The PF3 carries an asymmetric blade - the longest in the range and the most flexible - centring load over the foot rather than the toe edge. The socks refine the fit where the asymmetric foot pocket distributes stretch differently from a symmetric design. The fin savers secure the connection in the surf and turbulent water where the PF3 is most at home. Together they address fit, comfort, and retention for the experienced rider in one purchase.

PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins

The PF3 Evolution is the longest fin in the POD PF Series and the most flexible. The asymmetric blade centres load over the foot rather than the toe edge, moving with the body more naturally through each kick. Like the PF2, the PF3 carries vertical rails that extend to the blade edge, improving wave hold and keeping the legs from sliding down the wave face. The asymmetric foot pocket follows the natural contour of the foot for a precise connection under load.

The PF3 suits experienced bodysurfers and bodyboarders who want a fin that responds precisely to how they move, particularly in conditions where timing, direction, and wave positioning matter most. Available in sizes SM through L.

POD Neoprene Fin Socks

The POD 3mm Neoprene Fin Socks use a registered stitch-free inner arch construction. The inner arch is left smooth rather than stitched, removing the most common source of discomfort associated with standard fin socks. The sock naturally hugs the medial arch of the foot without irritation. With the PF3's asymmetric foot pocket distributing stretch differently from a symmetric design, fin socks can help refine the fit and maintain a more secure connection where needed.

POD Deluxe Fin Savers

The POD Deluxe Fin Savers use a slim-line buckle-adjustable strap system with 6mm webbing that loops around any swim fin strap and sits flat against the ankle. The 4mm neoprene padding reduces pressure and friction without adding bulk between the foot and the fin. They suit ocean use in surf, shore break, and moving water where fin retention matters - exactly the conditions the PF3 is used in.

Step 1 - Foot Length and Width

Small/Medium: 7-8 - Length 24 cm, Width 9 cm
Medium: 8-9 - Length 25 cm, Width 9.5 cm
Medium/Large: 9-10 - Length 26 cm, Width 10 cm
Large: 10-11 - Length 27 cm, Width 10.5 cm
Measurements are maximum sizes before stretch.
Natural rubber stretch allowance up to 5 mm for a snug fit

Neoprene Fin Sock Sizing

POD fins are manufactured for use within the stated and engraved size range. Using a size more than one size below the specified size alters the intended foot-to-blade ratio and may result in an improper fit or reduced function. Fitting fins to feet larger than the stated size may cause overstretching or overloading, which can compromise the structural integrity of the fin. Such misuse voids warranty coverage. POD rubber fins are made for swimming and are not intended for walking or running. Bending or flexing the blade beyond 35° in any direction may cause tearing or cracking of the blade or sole. Damage resulting from such actions is not covered under warranty. To minimise the risk of damage when moving in shallow water, fins should be used for swimming only. Avoid walking or running forward while wearing fins. Where movement on land or in shallow water is necessary, walking backwards will help prevent undue stress to the blade and foot cavity. This warranty does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
