The POD PF1 Swim Fins and Fin Savers with Heel Protectors pair the lightest, most forgiving fin in the PF Series with the ankle retention of the ONE-Strap system. The PF1's streamlined rail and forgiving flex reduce rotational load on the ankles and knees across longer sessions. The fin savers keep the fins on the feet with a slim-line webbing connection that sits flat against the ankle. The heel pads prevent chafing and stabilise the heel in the foot pocket. A practical pairing for swimming, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and ocean use.

PF1 POD Swim Fins

The PF1 is the lightest fin in the POD PF Series. Made from natural Malaysian buoyant rubber, it uses a streamlined rail that flows into the blade without vertical top rails. That structure gives the blade more natural flex, making each kick more forgiving and easier to sustain. The symmetrical blade and Splay Rails® support balanced movement and stable, controlled progress through the water. Drainage channels allow quick release of water and sand from the foot pocket.

The PF1 suits pool training, open-water swimming, and ocean use across bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and kneeboarding. For beginners, younger riders, and fitness swimmers, the combination of forgiving flex and low weight makes movement easier to maintain and control.

POD Fin Savers and Heel Protectors

The POD Swim Fin Savers and Heel Protectors use a single streamlined ONE-Strap webbing connection between the ankle and the rubber fin strap. That single strap reduces the bulk and drag associated with wider webbing systems. Soft neoprene heel pads wrap around the fin strap to prevent chafing, stabilise the heel, and improve retention in surf, shore break, and moving water.

Step 1 - Foot Length and Width

Small: 6-7 - Length 23 cm, Width 8.5 cm
Small/Medium: 7-8 - Length 24 cm, Width 9 cm
Medium: 8-9 - Length 25 cm, Width 9.5 cm
Medium/Large: 9-10 - Length 26 cm, Width 10 cm
Large: 10-11 - Length 27 cm, Width 10.5 cm
Extra Large: 11-12 - Length 28 cm, Width 11 cm
Measurements are maximum sizes before stretch.
Natural rubber stretch allowance up to 5 mm for a snug fit

Step 2 - Ankle Strap Width

Small: 8.2 cm
Small/Medium: 8.7 cm
Medium: 9.3 cm
Medium/Large: 9.5 cm
Large: 10 cm
Extra Large: 10.5 cm

POD fins are manufactured for use within the stated and engraved size range. Using a size more than one size below the specified size alters the intended foot-to-blade ratio and may result in an improper fit or reduced function. Fitting fins to feet larger than the stated size may cause overstretching or overloading, which can compromise the structural integrity of the fin. Such misuse voids warranty coverage. POD rubber fins are made for swimming and are not intended for walking or running. Bending or flexing the blade beyond 35° in any direction may cause tearing or cracking of the blade or sole. Damage resulting from such actions is not covered under warranty. To minimise the risk of damage when moving in shallow water, fins should be used for swimming only. Avoid walking or running forward while wearing fins. Where movement on land or in shallow water is necessary, walking backwards will help prevent undue stress to the blade and foot cavity. This warranty does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law..
