PF1 POD Swim Fins - Forgiving Flex for Swimming, Bodysurfing and Bodyboarding
The PF1 is the lightest fin in the POD PF Series. This symmetrical swim fin is made from natural Malaysian rubber and suits pool training, open-water swimming, and ocean use for bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and kneeboarding.
The PF1 uses a streamlined rail that flows into the blade without vertical top rails. That structure gives the blade more natural flex than the PF2, making each kick more forgiving and easier to sustain. The lighter overall weight reduces rotational load on the ankles, knees, and hips during longer sessions.
For beginners, younger riders, fitness swimmers, and anyone managing ankle or knee strain, that combination of forgiving flex and low weight makes movement easier to maintain and easier to control. Many experienced riders choose the PF1 for exactly those reasons.
Manufactured at our Malaysian natural rubber fin factory, POD is the first to develop variegated-colour straps and rails, producing unique colour patterns inspired by ocean life. No two pairs are identical.

Getting the right size is the first step. How the fin feels in the water depends on fit, security, and comfort over time.

Natural Rubber - What to Expect on Arrival
PF1 POD swim fins are made from premium natural Malaysian rubber. A light white powder or waxy residue on the surface is normal. This is not a defect, and you don't need to remove it before use.
Mould release agents from the manufacturing process and natural compounds in the rubber cause it; it is the same residue you will find on other natural rubber products. It shows up more on darker rubber.

If it dries out: A wash in hot water will dissolve a powdery surface if one develops over time
Rubber Memory
Natural rubber holds the shape it was moulded into. If a fin bends from storage or heat, hot water helps it relax back toward its original shape.
