The POD PF2 Ocean Active swim fins use the same PF2 structure and response, expressed through a limited-edition colour range. Designed for swimming, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and ocean use, they provide a structured, responsive feel while maintaining comfort during extended sessions.

Manufactured from premium Malaysian natural buoyant rubber, the PF2 Ocean Active fins are built for durability, consistent flex, and long-term use in both controlled and moving water environments.

Working closely with our rubber fin factory, POD was the first to introduce marbleised colour blends paired with solid-colour straps and rails. Each pair features subtle variation, ensuring no two sets are identical while maintaining the same characteristics across the PF2 range.

The PF2 is a balanced, all-purpose fin that provides consistent control and response across a wide range of conditions. Its symmetrical design distributes load evenly, allowing movement to remain stable, predictable, and controlled without directional bias.

Step 1: Foot Length and Width

• Small: 6–7 = Length 23 cm | Width 8.5 cm
• Small/Medium: 7–8 = Length 24 cm | Width 9 cm
• Medium: 8–9 = Length 25 cm | Width 9.5 cm
• Medium/Large: 9–10 = Length 26 cm | Width 10 cm
• Large: 10–11 = Length 27 cm | Width 10.5 cm
• Extra Large: 11–12 = Length 28 cm | Width 11 cm
• The measurements shown are the maximum dimensions before stretch.
• Allow up to 5 mm stretch for a snug fit.

Step 2: Ankle Width for Strap Fit

• Small: 6–7 = Width 8.2 cm
• Small/Medium: 7–8 = Width 8.7 cm
• Medium: 8–9 = Width 9.3 cm
• Medium/Large: 9–10 = Width 9.5 cm
• Large: 10–11 = Width 10 cm
• Extra Large: 11–12 = Width 10.5 cm
• Widths listed are before stretch.
• Strap stretch allowance of 10–15 mm

If your foot matches the width but is slightly longer, the extended foot pocket provides additional toe room without compromising comfort.

Important: PF2 fins are not designed to accommodate foot lengths more than 1 cm beyond the size chart. Overstretching the rubber alters load distribution and may void the warranty.

Dialling In PF2 for Ocean Conditions

The PF2 Ocean Active is often used across a range of conditions, from calm water to shore break and active surf zones. In these environments, POD Deluxe Fin Straps help maintain fin connection during entries, exits, and unpredictable water movement where fins can be dislodged.

If your fit sits close to the upper end of the tolerance range, or you begin to feel movement through the heel under load, POD Swim Fin Savers and Heel Protectors can help stabilise the strap position and reduce friction during longer or more demanding sessions.
