USE THE FIT FINDER TO CONFIRM YOUR SIZE BEFORE SELECTING.

Note: Shoe sizes vary across brands and countries. For the most accurate result, we recommend measuring your foot directly using Step 1 below.

+ How to Measure Foot Length + Width

Use a ruler and paper against a wall to measure foot length from heel to longest toe. Width is measured at the widest point, as shown in the diagram.

PF2 Ocean Active POD Swim Fins - Limited Edition Marbleised Colour Range

The PF2 Ocean Active carries the same structure, rail geometry, and rubber compound as the standard PF2, expressed through a limited-edition marbleised colour range. The fin performs identically. What changes is the finish.

POD was the first to introduce marbleised colour blends paired with solid-colour straps and rails. Each pair features subtle colour variation - no two sets are identical.

The symmetric Chisel Blade® and vertical rails that define the PF2 are unchanged here. The vertical rails extend to the blade edge, keeping legs stable on the wave face and giving the kick a firm, directed response through moving water. The symmetric blade and foot pocket distribute load evenly, making this a consistent, predictable fin across swimming, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and ocean use.

Where the PF2 Ocean Active Works Well

  • Swimming and open water: Firm, structured response for training and extended ocean sessions
  • Bodysurfing and bodyboarding: Vertical rails hold position on the wave face with a symmetric blade that suits a wide range of riders and conditions
  • Kneeboarding: Controlled bursts where the board handles lift and the fin keeps drive consistent
  • Rescue, lifesaving and ocean photography: Reliable under repeated load across varied conditions

POD PF2 Ocean Active Features

  • Natural buoyant rubber compounds, manufactured in Malaysia
  • Vertical rails extend to the blade edge, improving wave hold and preventing legs from sliding down the wave face
  • Symmetric Chisel Blade® and symmetric foot pocket distribute load evenly across both sides of the fin
  • Sole ramp-up reduces unnecessary toe movement and improves comfort under load
  • Splay Rails® combined with the symmetric Chisel Blade® for controlled, directed movement through the water
  • Tread Rails® add structural strength and durability
  • Sic Cut® profile delivers a lightweight, robust structure under load
  • Drainage channels allow rapid release of water and sand from the foot pocket
  • Limited-edition marbleised colour blends with solid-colour straps and rails - each pair uniquely finished

Swim Fin Sizing Versus Shoe Size

Shoe size is not a reliable guide for swim fins. Rubber stretch, foot pocket shape, and brand sizing all vary. Use the measurements below or the POD Fit Finder for an accurate match.

PF2 Ocean Active Swim Fin Sizing

For the most accurate fit, use the POD Fit Finder or the measurements below to match your foot and ankle dimensions.

Learn how fit affects movement and control here.

Step 1 - Foot Length and Width

  • Small: 6-7 - Length 23 cm, Width 8.5 cm
  • Small/Medium: 7-8 - Length 24 cm, Width 9 cm
  • Medium: 8-9 - Length 25 cm, Width 9.5 cm
  • Medium/Large: 9-10 - Length 26 cm, Width 10 cm
  • Large: 10-11 - Length 27 cm, Width 10.5 cm
  • Extra Large: 11-12 - Length 28 cm, Width 11 cm
  • Measurements are maximum sizes before stretch.
  • Natural rubber stretch allowance up to 5 mm for a snug fit

Step 2 - Ankle Strap Width

  • Small: 8.2 cm
  • Small/Medium: 8.7 cm
  • Medium: 9.3 cm
  • Medium/Large: 9.5 cm
  • Large: 10 cm
  • Extra Large: 10.5 cm
  • Measurements are before stretch.
  • Strap stretch allowance of 10-15 mm for a secure, non-slip fit

Complete Your PF2 Ocean Active Fit and Ocean Setup

Getting the right size is the first step. How the fin performs in the water depends on how securely and comfortably it fits once conditions increase.

If you are using your fins in surf, shore break, or moving water, POD Deluxe Fin Straps help keep fins secure through entry, exit, and heavy water movement.

If the heel area feels slightly loose or pressure builds during longer sessions, POD Swim Fin Savers and Heel Protectors improve retention and reduce friction at the heel.

For feet that sit on the lower end of the foot pocket range, POD 3mm Neoprene Fin Socks refine fit, reduce internal movement, and add warmth in cooler water. The POD Fit Finder will also indicate when socks, heel pads, or fin savers are worth considering based on your foot dimensions and how you plan to use the fins.

Care and Use

POD natural rubber swim fins suit swimming, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, kneeboarding, lifesaving, and ocean photography.

Walk backwards when wearing fins. It preserves the blade and extends the fins' lifespan.

POD fins are manufactured for use within the stated and engraved size range. Using a size more than one size below the specified size alters the intended foot-to-blade ratio and may result in an improper fit or reduced function. Fitting fins to feet larger than the stated size may cause overstretching or overloading, which can compromise the structural integrity of the fin. Such misuse voids warranty coverage. POD rubber fins are made for swimming and are not intended for walking or running. Bending or flexing the blade beyond 35° in any direction may cause tearing or cracking of the blade or sole. Damage resulting from such actions is not covered under warranty. To minimise the risk of damage when moving in shallow water, fins should be used for swimming only. Avoid walking or running forward while wearing fins. Where movement on land or in shallow water is necessary, walking backwards will help prevent undue stress to the blade and foot cavity. This warranty does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

    Great look and feel fins

Posted by Tim Edwards on 5th Mar 2025

These PODS fins look and feel great! Unfortunately, the 10-11 was WAY bigger in the foot pocket than expected, so can’t report on performance.

    Excellent Fins, very comfortable

Posted by Lee Marshall on 24th Jan 2025

Love my new fins. Had a pair of Asymmetrical, Churchill style Fins before and they killed my feet and gave me foot and leg cramps (they were shop recommend and fitted)). Also didn’t find them very effective. Thanks to the helpful advice from Shane now the proud owner of a pair of Pods and couldn’t be happier. No tubs or cramping and was able to get to areas I hadn’t previously on my bodyboards.

    POD FINS

Posted by Guillaume on 20th Dec 2024

It's been already few months I ride my yellow ocean active pod fins in every kind of conditions. I love them, great job with the perfect balance between comfort, power and weight. I am 40 years old and I practise bodyboarding since 1997. I tested and surfed every kind of fins but POD FINS is the only one factory purposing new designs, innovations and a real advance. Great job and thank you very much

    Certifiably awesome

Posted by Peter Bradbury on 4th Dec 2024

Just got back from our local swell magnet, Woonona Beach. Offshore Nor wester, low tide, 3 foot and barrelling. The pod F2 fins are, without doubt, certifiably awesome! Powered along the wave face, made crumbling sections with ease and got pitted constantly. Completely shattered now but the best body surf I’ve had in years. Thanks for your help getting me sorted with the right size fin.

    Pod PF2 Yellow Marble

Posted by Andrew on 29th Nov 2023

Recently upgraded from my PF1 to PF2 and still happy to say these are the best fins I have used in my many years in the water. Never blister my feet like other fins thanks to the material composition. Great sand evacuation. And the design is a great balance for body boarding, surfing and I use them for snorkelling as well. Highly recommended!

    Feel great and fit perfectly

Posted by Neil Leclercq on 16th Dec 2020

Hi Shane, the fins have just arrived, and they feel great and fit perfectly, head and shoulders above the couple of others I’d managed to try on locally. I’ll be sure to recommend your fins and your company to anyone who needs to know. So, for the final time, thank you very much from a happy and appreciative customer.
