Maximum Surface. Vertical Rails. Secured at Every Connection.

The POD FLO Cedar Walnut Handboard, PF2 Swim Fins, and Fin Savers with Heel Protectors pair the largest wood handboard in the Hand Body Soul® range with the most structured fin in the PF Series and a complete ankle retention system. The FLO's deep 20mm concave and maximum surface area suit experienced riders in powerful surf. The PF2's vertical rails keep the legs stable on the wave face. The fin savers and heel protectors secure that connection at the ankle and prevent loss in turbulent water. Four products, four specific jobs.

FLO Cedar Walnut Handboard - Hand Body Soul®

The FLO is the largest handboard in the Hand Body Soul® range at 375mm (15 inches). The cedar and walnut construction uses walnut in the centre and cedar on the sides, CNC machined and hand-finished with laser-engraved trademarks. The deep 20mm concave bottom with integrated keel fin provides maximum surface area for lift and directional hold in powerful surf. The convex deck supports a natural hand position in the palm.

PF2 POD Swim Fins

The PF2 is the most structured fin in the POD PF Series. Made from natural Malaysian buoyant rubber, it carries vertical rails that extend to the blade edge, improving wave hold and keeping the legs from sliding down the wave face. The sole ramp-up reduces unnecessary toe movement and improves comfort under load. The symmetric Chisel Blade® and Splay Rails® distribute load evenly and support controlled, directed movement through the water.

The PF2 suits swimming, open-water training, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, kneeboarding, lifesaving, and ocean photography across a wide range of conditions.

POD Fin Savers and Heel Protectors

The POD Swim Fin Savers and Heel Protectors use a single streamlined ONE-Strap webbing connection between the ankle and the rubber fin strap. That single strap reduces the bulk and drag associated with wider webbing systems. Soft neoprene heel pads wrap around the fin strap to prevent chafing, stabilise the heel, and improve retention in surf, shore break, and moving water.

Care - Wood Handboard and Swim Fins

  • Fresh water rinse after every surf
  • Shade dry only to protect timber and rubber
  • Avoid direct heat to prevent warping or cracking
  • Recoat when needed with a marine-grade satin finish to keep the wood sealed

Heat warning - do not leave wood handboard or fins in sun or hot car

POD fins are manufactured for use within the stated and engraved size range. Using a size more than one size below the specified size alters the intended foot-to-blade ratio and may result in an improper fit or reduced function. Fitting fins to feet larger than the stated size may cause overstretching or overloading, which can compromise the structural integrity of the fin. Such misuse voids warranty coverage. POD rubber fins are made for swimming and are not intended for walking or running. Bending or flexing the blade beyond 35° in any direction may cause tearing or cracking of the blade or sole. Damage resulting from such actions is not covered under warranty. To minimise the risk of damage when moving in shallow water, fins should be used for swimming only. Avoid walking or running forward while wearing fins. Where movement on land or in shallow water is necessary, walking backwards will help prevent undue stress to the blade and foot cavity. This warranty does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
