Compact Hand. Asymmetric Foot. Precision at Both Contact Points.

The POD EGO Cedar Walnut Handboard and PF3 Evolution Swim Fins pair the smallest wood handboard in the Hand Body Soul® range with the most flexible fin in the PF Series. The EGO at 225mm suits technical surf, smaller hands, and riders who prefer a compact, agile contact point in the water. The PF3's asymmetric blade centres load over the foot and responds precisely to how the rider moves. Two products chosen for precision and control, paired in one purchase.

EGO Cedar Walnut Handboard - Hand Body Soul®

The EGO is the smallest handboard in the Hand Body Soul® range at 225mm (9 inches). The cedar and walnut construction delivers a 16mm concave bottom with integrated keel fin. The convex deck supports a natural hand position in the palm with ergonomic palm hold and support. The compact size suits technical surf, steeper waves, and riders with smaller hands.

PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins

The PF3 Evolution is the longest fin in the POD PF Series and the most flexible. The asymmetric blade centres load over the foot rather than the toe edge, moving with the body more naturally through each kick. Like the PF2, the PF3 carries vertical rails that extend to the blade edge, improving wave hold and keeping the legs from sliding down the wave face. The asymmetric foot pocket follows the natural contour of the foot for a precise connection under load.

The PF3 suits experienced bodysurfers and bodyboarders who want a fin that responds precisely to how they move, particularly in conditions where timing, direction, and wave positioning matter most. Available in sizes SM through L.

Care - Wood Handboard and Swim Fins

  • Fresh water rinse after every surf
  • Shade dry only to protect timber and rubber
  • Avoid direct heat to prevent warping or cracking - never leave in direct sun or a hot vehicle
  • Check the finish regularly - recoat with a marine-grade satin finish if water ingress or grain separation is visible

Heat warning - do not leave wood handboard or fins in sun or hot car

POD fins are manufactured for use within the stated and engraved size range. Using a size more than one size below the specified size alters the intended foot-to-blade ratio and may result in an improper fit or reduced function. Fitting fins to feet larger than the stated size may cause overstretching or overloading, which can compromise the structural integrity of the fin. Such misuse voids warranty coverage. POD rubber fins are made for swimming and are not intended for walking or running. Bending or flexing the blade beyond 35° in any direction may cause tearing or cracking of the blade or sole. Damage resulting from such actions is not covered under warranty. To minimise the risk of damage when moving in shallow water, fins should be used for swimming only. Avoid walking or running forward while wearing fins. Where movement on land or in shallow water is necessary, walking backwards will help prevent undue stress to the blade and foot cavity. This warranty does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
