Flex in the Water, Dry on the Walk Home - 25L Backpack and PF3 Fins
The POD 25L Waterproof Backpack and PF3 Evolution Swim Fins suit bodysurfers and bodyboarders who ride by feel. The PF3 has the most flex of the three PF models, and its asymmetric blade keeps the load centred over your foot so the fin moves with your kick. When the session's done, the backpack carries your fins home, sealed against water and sand.
POD Waterproof Backpack 25L
A wet towel, your phone and keys ride home in the same bag without anything getting soaked. The POD 25L starts with heavy-duty 500D PVC tarpaulin, joined at every seam by electronic heat welding. No stitching means no holes, so water can't get through.
Inside, you have 25 litres of space. To close it, roll the top forward three turns. That creates an airtight, watertight seal, and you then fasten it one of two ways. The top buckle suits quick stops when you need to get back in. The side compression straps pull everything in tight for a longer haul. Once you've sealed it properly, the bag floats.
Keep your phone and valuables in the front pocket. Its IPX6-rated zipper stands up to heavy spray. Each end of that zip is moulded shut at the factory, not trimmed from a roll.
On your back, padded shoulder straps and a padded back panel both let air through, so you stay cooler on the walk up from the beach. Clip the adjustable chest strap across to keep the load steady. A carry handle and two D-rings give you a place to grab it and hang extra gear.

PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins
Halfway along a wave face, your legs want to slide towards the bottom. The PF3 answers that with vertical rails running out to the very edge of the blade, the same rail design the PF2 uses. They hold in the face and give your legs something to push against while you set your line.
The PF3 differs from the PF2 in length and flex. It's the longest fin in the PF Series and the softest to bend. The blade is asymmetric, weighted to carry the load through the centre of your foot instead of the toe edge. Kick and the fin bends in the same direction your leg is travelling.
The pocket is asymmetric as well. It takes the actual shape of a foot, so there's no play between you and the fin when you load it up.
Bodysurfers and bodyboarders who ride fast, hollow or shifting waves tend to end up on the PF3. On those days, a clean take-off comes down to fractions, and the fin keeps pace with what your legs are doing. Sizes SM to L.
