Made for the Asymmetric Pocket - PF3 Fins and Neoprene Fin Socks
The POD PF3 Evolution Swim Fins and Neoprene Fin Socks work together as one fit. The PF3's asymmetric foot pocket stretches differently from a symmetric design, and it can feel slightly looser in some parts of the foot. The 3mm sock deals with that directly. It fills the loose spots inside the pocket, so the fin holds firm when you kick, and it keeps your feet warm in cooler water. Its stitch-free inner arch means nothing rubs while it does.
PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins
What you notice first in the PF3 is its length. It's the longest blade in the PF Series and the most flexible, so it bends deep and smoothly through the kick. The asymmetric outline keeps that bend centred under your foot, away from the toe edge, which means the fin travels with your leg rather than twisting off it.
Your foot sits in an asymmetric pocket cut to its real contour. The fit stays close when you load up, with no gap for the fin to shift in.
Along the edges you'll find vertical rails reaching right to the tip, the same rails the PF2 carries. Lying prone on a bodyboard or riding with your body across the face, they grip the wave and keep your legs from dropping towards the bottom.
For bodysurfers and bodyboarders who ride by feel, the PF3 turns small leg adjustments into direct changes in the water. It earns its place on days when timing and line decide whether you make the wave.

POD Neoprene Fin Socks
The PF3's asymmetric pocket follows the shape of a foot, so it stretches more in some places than others. Every foot fills it a little differently. A 3mm neoprene sock underneath lets you close any loose spots and tighten the fit wherever your foot needs it.
The sock itself has no stitching along the inner arch. POD's registered stitch-free design leaves that section smooth, and the neoprene lies against the inside of your foot without a seam to press or rub. That's where most fin socks start to hurt, and on these, it simply isn't an issue.

Using Your Swim Fins
Swim fins work in the water, not on land. To protect the blade and extend the fin's life, walk or run backward on dry ground rather than walking forward on the blade tips.
