One Fit, Inside and Out - PF2 Fins and Neoprene Fin Socks
The PF2 and the Neoprene Fin Socks work as one fit: the fin on the outside and the sock on the inside. The PF2's vertical rails hold into the wave face, so your legs stay steady when the surf picks up. Inside the pocket, the 3mm sock closes any gaps between your foot and the rubber and stops the chafing that builds over a long session. In cooler water, it also keeps your feet warm.
Each one makes the other work better. The sock gives the fin a closer fit, and the fin gives the sock a reason to be there.
PF2 POD Swim Fins
With a sock inside, the PF2's foot pocket becomes the anchor for the whole kick. Its sole rises under the front of your foot, which settles your toes so they don't claw or shift when you load the fin. You stay comfortable, and the effort goes into the blade instead of into holding on.
That blade is the symmetrical Chisel Blade®, with Splay Rails® along each side. They spread the load evenly and send each kick where you aim it. Vertical rails continue right out to the blade edge, making the PF2 the most structured fin in the PF Series. On a wave, they grip the face and keep your legs from sliding down it.
The fin is moulded from natural Malaysian rubber, which floats. That's part of why it travels so widely. Swimmers use it for pool sessions and open-water training, and in the surf for bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and kneeboarding. Lifesavers and ocean photographers take it out in every kind of condition.

POD Neoprene Fin Socks
Run your fingers along the inside arch of these socks, and you won't find a seam. The POD 3mm Neoprene Fin Socks use a registered stitch-free construction through that section, so the neoprene sits smooth against the medial arch of your foot. Stitching usually makes a fin sock sore, and here there's none to press into you.
Inside the PF2, the sock suits a foot at the small end of the pocket's size range, using the spare room so the fin fits close. When the water turns cold, it holds warmth around your feet and keeps your skin off the rubber.

Using Your Swim Fins
Swim fins work in the water, not on land. To protect the blade and extend the fin's life, walk or run backward on dry ground rather than walking forward on the blade tips.
