POD 6ft Surfboard Leash - Octo-Grip Ankle Cuff and POD Connection

The POD 6ft Surfboard Leash is the all-rounder in the POD Connection range. It suits shortboards across a wide range of conditions - from everyday beach breaks to more powerful surf - and carries the upgrades that 14 years of real-world testing and direct surfer feedback have produced.

Total cord length is 6ft 9" including hardware. At PODWARE, the stated length is cord length alone, not cord plus cuff and swivel.

Octo-Grip - The Upgraded Ankle Cuff

The Octo-Grip ankle cuff is the most visible result of that development time. Standard neoprene cuffs shift under movement, cause ankle rash, and lose position in a hold-down. The Octo-Grip replaces that with a silicone print inspired by the natural suction of an octopus.

The strategic array of silicone circles creates a low-profile traction interface between the cuff and your skin or wetsuit. It stays where you put it without requiring the strap to be overtightened, and it does not cause irritation across longer sessions. Available in Stealth Black.

POD Connection - Organic Fusion, No Twist

The POD Connection uses an organic over-moulded design fused directly onto the 7mm extruded urethane cord. Standard connectors use perpendicular slots or angled grooves that force the cord into a rotational twist under load. The POD Connection eliminates those angles entirely, keeping the stretch on a true linear path.
