Ocean Active PF2 POD Swim Fins – Bodyboard | Bodysurf | Swim
PF2 Ocean Active POD Swim Fins - Limited Edition Marbleised Colour Range
The PF2 Ocean Active carries the same structure, rail geometry, and rubber compound as the standard PF2, expressed through a limited-edition marbleised colour range. The fin performs identically. What changes is the finish.
POD was the first to introduce marbleised colour blends paired with solid-colour straps and rails. Each pair features subtle colour variation - no two sets are identical.
The symmetric Chisel Blade® and vertical rails that define the PF2 are unchanged here. The vertical rails extend to the blade edge, keeping legs stable on the wave face and giving the kick a firm, directed response through moving water. The symmetric blade and foot pocket distribute load evenly, making this a consistent, predictable fin across swimming, bodysurfing, bodyboarding, and ocean use.
Where the PF2 Ocean Active Works Well
- Swimming and open water: Firm, structured response for training and extended ocean sessions
- Bodysurfing and bodyboarding: Vertical rails hold position on the wave face with a symmetric blade that suits a wide range of riders and conditions
- Kneeboarding: Controlled bursts where the board handles lift and the fin keeps drive consistent
- Rescue, lifesaving and ocean photography: Reliable under repeated load across varied conditions
POD PF2 Ocean Active Features
- Natural buoyant rubber compounds, manufactured in Malaysia
- Vertical rails extend to the blade edge, improving wave hold and preventing legs from sliding down the wave face
- Symmetric Chisel Blade® and symmetric foot pocket distribute load evenly across both sides of the fin
- Sole ramp-up reduces unnecessary toe movement and improves comfort under load
- Splay Rails® combined with the symmetric Chisel Blade® for controlled, directed movement through the water
- Tread Rails® add structural strength and durability
- Sic Cut® profile delivers a lightweight, robust structure under load
- Drainage channels allow rapid release of water and sand from the foot pocket
- Limited-edition marbleised colour blends with solid-colour straps and rails - each pair uniquely finished
Swim Fin Sizing Versus Shoe Size
Shoe size is not a reliable guide for swim fins. Rubber stretch, foot pocket shape, and brand sizing all vary. Use the measurements below or the POD Fit Finder for an accurate match.

Complete Your PF2 Ocean Active Fit and Ocean Setup
Getting the right size is the first step. How the fin performs in the water depends on how securely and comfortably it fits once conditions increase.
If you are using your fins in surf, shore break, or moving water, POD Deluxe Fin Straps help keep fins secure through entry, exit, and heavy water movement.
If the heel area feels slightly loose or pressure builds during longer sessions, POD Swim Fin Savers and Heel Protectors improve retention and reduce friction at the heel.
For feet that sit on the lower end of the foot pocket range, POD 3mm Neoprene Fin Socks refine fit, reduce internal movement, and add warmth in cooler water. The POD Fit Finder will also indicate when socks, heel pads, or fin savers are worth considering based on your foot dimensions and how you plan to use the fins.
