WOW 13" Handboard and PF3 Fins - Matched for the Same Waves

The POD WOW 13" Handboard and PF3 Evolution Swim Fins pair a polyurethane handboard with the most flexible fin in the PF Series. The WOW 13" uses a different construction from both the polypropylene Original Classic and the Hand Body Soul® cedar walnut range. It's moulded from light, crack-resistant polyurethane with an 18mm concave base and built-in keel fin. The PF3's asymmetric blade centres load over the foot and responds precisely to your movements, even when the surf gets serious.

POD WOW 13" Bodysurfing Handboard

At 330 to 350 grams, the WOW 13" is the lightest handboard for its size that POD makes. The 330mm polyurethane body is light and tough, and it gives slightly under load before springing back. Underneath, an 18mm concave base and mono-keel fin channel the water along the board, extending the lift from your hand and holding your line through the wave. The convex deck gives your palm a natural resting position and takes the strain off your hand during long sessions.

Polyurethane resists cracking and doesn't need the upkeep a timber board does. You can take the WOW out whenever there's surf, in any conditions, and give it nothing more than a rinse afterwards.

PF3 Evolution POD Swim Fins

The WOW is the lightest handboard for its size that POD makes, and the PF3 is the longest fin in the PF Series. Together they keep the weight at your hand low and give your legs plenty of blade to kick with. The PF3 is also the most flexible of the three PF fins. Its asymmetric blade holds the load over the middle of your foot instead of letting it slip out to the toe edge, so the flex follows the natural line of your kick.

The pocket matches the blade's thinking. It's asymmetric, shaped around the true outline of a foot, and it stays put when you drive hard to get into a wave. On the face, vertical rails running to the blade edge, the same as the PF2's, hold your legs up level with your hand.

Bodysurfers who read the wave and adjust as they go get the most from the PF3. When timing and position leave no room for error, the fin reacts the moment your legs do.

Step 1 - Foot Length and Width

• Small/Medium: 7-8 - Length 24 cm, Width 9 cm
• Medium: 8-9 - Length 25 cm, Width 9.5 cm
• Medium/Large: 9-10 - Length 26 cm, Width 10 cm
• Large: 10-11 - Length 27 cm, Width 10.5 cm
• Measurements are maximum sizes before stretch.
• Natural rubber stretch allowance up to 5 mm for a snug fit

Step 2 - Ankle Strap Width

• Small/Medium: 9.5 cm
• Medium: 10 cm
• Medium/Large: 10.5 cm

Care - Handboard and Swim Fins

• Freshwater rinse after every surf - handboard and fins
• Shade dry only - avoid direct sunlight for extended periods
• Avoid direct heat - never leave gear inside a vehicle on a hot day
