  1. A sturdy rarity

Rashguards have mostly become fairly standard, the main issue being whether they have an anchor loop to help keep the rashie down/shorts up.

The POD's fabric is somewhat heavier than some (perhaps a white version for hot weather might be nice). Plenty stretchy.

The rubber waist strip is something I've seen only on a few Hurley rash guards. It's useful.

The elbow to wrist pad looks and feels, on the outside, like the knee pads of a quality surfing wet suit. It's definitely backed by thin, soft neoprene. I'm not aware of anything quite like it on the market.

I'm anticipating a bit of improvement in board control and comfort.
